as of on October *
The University of Georgia and Auburn University have competed on the gridiron for more than a century, but now “The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry” moves to a new playing field: charitable giving. Beat Week is a one-week giving challenge designed to engage, inspire and draw support from alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, fans and other friends.
Whether your battle cry is “Go Dawgs” or “War Eagle,” your support for these land-grant institutions can advance the vital missions they share: excellence in teaching, research and service.
Whenever the Dawgs and Tigers compete, it’s a special occasion. And now may be the most special of all, because no matter who comes out on top, we all win. Show your support, pull hard for your team, and whatever the scoreboard reads when the clock strikes zero, you’ll have made your university better.
* Donor information is not available immediately and is updated after gift processing. There is a greater lag time for student donor information.
All are welcome to contribute to Beat Week by making a gift to either school from September 28 through October 3. The challenge ends at 11:59 PM CST on October 3. For further questions:
